Guide can be safely submerged completely up to 3 feet in water for 30 minutes and not have any water leak in. The waterproof zipper must be completely closed to provide proper protection.
Yes, a laptop such as a MacBook can definitely be used with Guide. For reference, the 16" MacBook Pro fits fine.
